Ivana Vojinovic: Chopin – Mazurka, burlesque

Ivana Vojnovic was born in Novi Sad in 1967. She finished elementary and secondary music school Isidor Bajic – piano department, and composition at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of Professor Dusan Radic. She received her Master’s degree at the Belgrade Faculty of Music, Department of Music Theory, under the supervision of prof . Mirjana Zivkovic and prof. Svetislav Bozic, with the theme Piano sonatas by Alexander Scriabin : the tonality to a polycentric system. Stayed on one-year professional training in Athens in the field of Byzantine music. She was employed in the secondary music school Isidor Bajic , and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad as an assistant to the Analysis of a musical work. She has participated in several conferences in the field of music theory and analysis in Belgrade and Banja Luka, and published articles in journals with good reference. She is the author of didactic manual ” Analysis of musical works ” for students of of all kinds of music. She is the author of several compositions for chamber ensembles, Ars suite 1 by order of the ensemble Ars opera, solo song cycle ” Cycle of life  for mezzo-soprano, baritone, strings and piano,  Divertimento for strings and piano, Vals trio for oboe, cello and piano by order of the ensemble Rem, string Quartet No. 1, string Quartet no. 2, solo song cycle for soprano and piano, Suite for Piano , Suite for two pianos Miniatures and orchestra compositions  Symphonic sketches.
